Welcome to Barton Racing
As expected, Barton Racing has launched itself, full on, into the 2025 season with an ever increasing vibrancy. Harry, concentrating 100% on his career and Le Mans target, has wasted little time, taking on the sport’s leading sports car drivers, and competing in two championships, the Britcar Series, here in the UK (BMW M3), and the all important NLS Series for GT4/GT3 cars, based at Germany’s Nurburgring. As a diversion, and as a form of relaxation, Harry has also been racing historic cars from the Barton Racing stable, including demonstration of our iconic Lister Storm at Goodwood Festival of Speed prior to him racing the car later in the season. Naturally the busy schedule includes more than a few test days, spread across Europe and further afield. Finally, as motor racing is full of surprises, Harry’s planning remains flexible enough to include invitation drives as and when they arise, which, with just a little bit of luck, and more hard work, is definitely going to happen. Watch this space, or better still, follow our progress across social media, and come visit us in the paddock. The door is always open, except on the race track.

Our Story
1966 was a great year for England. As it turns out, it also wasn’t bad year for MG. Harry Barton’s first car was a beautifully restored MGB Roadster, with less than 400 miles on the clock. This was an absolutely stunning car, purchased from ADW Automotive and a chap called Adrian Wilson. The Barton family went on to buy a TR6, Triumph Spitfire and a 1959 MGA from Adrian, forming the basis of Harry’s induction into classic motoring.

Race report – Oulton Park – 29th-31st July 2022

Race report – Brands Hatch – July 10th 2022
It was a relatively early start to the day in order to get to the circuit in plenty of time. The day was beautiful, but very very hot. Luckily the racing later in the day would only be 25 minutes. I made a vital error however, I did not bring shorts. I was very hot,...
Race report – Lydden Hill – July 3rd 2022
Lydden Hill is a long way from home, so we decided to go down the night before the race and stop in a good hotel in Canterbury. In the evening we went to have a few drinks with the team by the circuit. This lead to a late night track walk. I thought this might be...
Sponsorship Opportunity
Whilst it’s still very early in Harry’s development, with a very promising first season and a busy schedule ahead, we are already thinking about sponsorship. With comments like;
“I’m tipping Mr. Barton as a future champion.”
Peter Baker. Retro-Speed Social Media
“His rate of progress is outrageous.”
Sam Hancock
“The best of the Touring cars was the BMW 1800Ti of young Harry Barton”
Perhaps we’re not too ahead of ourselves?!
We will certainly be looking for a headline sponsor for next season. It’s also not too late to get involved this season. If you’re interested in getting in early and having an initial exploratory conversation, do please get in touch.
If you’d simply like us to keep you posted on developments, just let us know.
