Welcome to Barton Racing 2026
For those new to our small family team let me introduce you to Harry Barton. Ambition? To race at the famous Le Mans 24 Hrs.
‘Ever since watching the film Ford versus Ferrari, I’ve been hooked. That was four years ago, and after making the decision, life has become one roller coaster ride, racing both modern and historic cars not only in the UK, but across Europe, America, and Abu Dhabi. I’m glad to say that for 2026 things have settled into more of a routine.’
Beginning in mid-April Harry is competing in the Dutch based Supercar Challenge, the next natural stepping stone in his career as he will be driving a BMW In the GT3 category, a division that attracts the cream of ambitious drivers sharing Harry’s ambition to be at the world’s premier endurance sportscar race. Also, and when time allows he will be campaigning one or more cars from the Barton Racing historic stable in the European Peter Auto series.
‘Throughout the season, not only is our website updated each month but full use is made of social media. Just chase down Barton Racing. And if you’re at a circuit, please come and say hello. Somebody will always find time to make you welcome.’

Our Story
1966 was a great year for England. As it turns out, it also wasn’t bad year for MG. Harry Barton’s first car was a beautifully restored MGB Roadster, with less than 400 miles on the clock. This was an absolutely stunning car, purchased from ADW Automotive and a chap called Adrian Wilson. The Barton family went on to buy a TR6, Triumph Spitfire and a 1959 MGA from Adrian, forming the basis of Harry’s induction into classic motoring.

Sponsorship Opportunity
Whilst it’s still very early in Harry’s development, with a very promising first season and a busy schedule ahead, we are already thinking about sponsorship. With comments like;
“I’m tipping Mr. Barton as a future champion.”
Peter Baker. Retro-Speed Social Media
“His rate of progress is outrageous.”
Sam Hancock
“The best of the Touring cars was the BMW 1800Ti of young Harry Barton”
Perhaps we’re not too ahead of ourselves?!
We will certainly be looking for a headline sponsor for next season. It’s also not too late to get involved this season. If you’re interested in getting in early and having an initial exploratory conversation, do please get in touch.
If you’d simply like us to keep you posted on developments, just let us know.
