Masters Test Day Donington 19/03/2024
Conditions: Cold but DryOwing to circumstances beyond our control, of the three cars booked in, only the BMW TiSA made it to pre-season testing at Donington. Not having the mighty Lister Storm or the updated BMW 2002 with us was naturally a big disappointment to one and all.
It was a dry day with a cold easterly wind but at least the rain held off. However, another reality check unexpectedly soon arrived when the BMW blew its differential first time out on track. It was now after lunch before Harry and the car were circulating, with just enough time to sort out all those fiddly things that accumulate during the winter lay-off, before finding time to put in some serious laps. In fact this last, all important session, went really well, even the sun came out. So, all in all, a frustrating, but very valuable day of pre-season testing. Let the season commence. PB
