Supercar Challenge Championship 2026, Round 6, Zandvoort 3/4 October 2026

Another Fun Weekend At The Seaside

In fact, with the team not arriving until late Friday afternoon, and then completing a typical three race schedule compressed into two days, before catching the last flight home Sunday, any thought of relaxation was decidedly off the agenda. Most of Saturday morning was taken up by free practice, Harry pushing hard for obvious reasons. And then, soon after lunch fifteen minutes of qualifying times two, prior to the first thirty-minute sprint race. From front row of the grid Harry pushed hard, finishing a well-earned second place. Sunday morning and the weather continued very warm, ideal conditions then for sprint race two. After a complicated thirty minutes that included plenty of safety car interference Harry took the Smart Payment Technologies supported BMW across the line in first place. So not a bad start to the day. Except we had a problem with a broken rear shock absorber. Replacement meant a back of grid relegation for the one-hour endurance race, this unwanted penalty proving crucial in the closing stages, after Harry had closed the leadership gap to just four seconds following the mandatory pit-stop. So, in the end, it was another second place, three podiums out of three races, and three more heavy trophies to explain away at airport security.
